Hexstatic Wallpapers

Geometry is brilliant. Some would even say it’s sacred. Repetition and patterns using geometric shapes are often pleasing to the eye and create a sense of harmony. While repetitive shapes have a certain effect on humans, colors can evoke different feelings ranging from nostalgia to tension to calm. Combined, color and repetition can have very profound effects. 

I was experimenting with geometric patterns and decided to push it further with colors. Here are a few wallpapers using a hexagon pattern and certain colors from my past. I’ve included iPhone and desktop versions. Click an image for the larger version and to download.
