Back to Blogs“Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth.”

Marsala is the Pantone color of the year for 2015, and the shade color experts believe will be reflected in fashion, home decor and graphic and industrial design trends next year.
In a release issued Thursday, Pantone describes the color as “a naturally robust and earthy wine red.”
Pantone said it expects the color will make its way into clothing collections, makeup, accessories and home furnishings. In the release it said several fashion designers were already incorporating marsala into their spring 2015 creations.
While I believe the color works well for fall and winter fashion and home interiors, I’m not sure it will make its way into print and web design in general.
