Printer ink is ludicrously expensive. Chanel No5 costs $1,600/liter while printer ink costs $4,285/liter. Pixart took a look at some common fonts and their ink usage. Turns out, Comic Sans uses .29% more than other popular fonts like Helvetica, Courier, and Calibri.

Sure, .29% doesn’t sound like much, but it adds up.

Another interesting result of analysis confirms US English saves ink and paper compared to UK English.
