Tabatha Coffey

Tabatha Coffey is an internationally known hairstylist, host of Bravo’s ‘Tabatha’s Salon Takeover’ and author. Her previous site was Flash-based and not accessible to a growing number of browsers—specifically mobile browsers.

Together, we worked on the needs of her site and discovered what her fans wanted with her site. The new site has a blog, galleries, featured sliders and more. Tabatha is able to add her own blog entries and galleries from her MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone. Truly, the redesign allows her to manage content on the go when taking over salons, appearing on television shows, and even from the Oscars.

As a result of the redesign, traffic to the site has risen 400%.

I was responsible for research, layout, graphic design, and web design. The site design is HTML-based and reflects modern standards and technology using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.

Mac Valentine Logo Design

Mac wanted a logo inspired by the military and futurism. After presenting various incarnations of the logo, the final logo was chosen which reflects his initials MV and has a heavy military feel.

William Wallace Salon

Print advertisement designed for William Wallace Salon. I selected the colors to reflect the liveliness of Spring while maintaining the clean, contemporary vibe of the salon.

Mississippi Safe Schools Coalition

Identity creation for Mississippi Safe Schools Coalition. The mission of the Mississippi Safe Schools Coalition is to ensure that all students have a safe learning environment by protecting students’
constitutional rights, ending discrimination, and fostering acceptance through public education.

The logo pulls two, common ideas relating to schools: the apple and the chalkboard. I sought to involve both in a modern brand that looked both professional but would also relate to students.
