I love digging through mid-century magazines for marketing and design inspiration (and a little humor). Found this gem from Kellogg’s in a 1940 Life magazine. Yes, it’s all about consti…SAY IT….pation.

My favorite parts of the ad include:

censoring of the word constipation
the masks! THE MASKS!
the pilgrimage for the cure
“The Great American Malady”

Yes, at one point in our history, the biggest malady Americans faced was constip….n. Luckily, Kellogg’s had the prescription.
